ZimSculpt is the first-ever African art exhibition to land in Toronto showcasing hundreds of Shona sculptures from some of Zimbabwe's most talented contemporary artists. During the course of the exhibition, the two artists-in-residence, Brighton Layson and Passmore Mupindiko will be live-sculpting, demonstrating their carving techniques and intricate handiwork. All displayed work, including work created during the event, will be available for purchase. You can watch them work under the Marketplace tent in the Perennial Border.
