ByBlacks.com is thrilled to announce the return of ByBlacks Restaurant Week for its highly anticipated 2024 Spring Edition. From May 20th to May 26th, food enthusiasts across Canada are invited to indulge in a week-long celebration of diverse flavours, culinary creativity, and community spirit.

For the 2024 Spring Edition, we’re embarking on our first-ever multi-city simultaneous kick-off events on Monday, May 20, 2024. The participating cities are Vancouver, Edmonton, Windsor, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax.

"We are delighted to present the 2024 Spring Edition of ByBlacks Restaurant Week, an event that celebrates the culinary excellence and cultural heritage of Black-owned restaurants in our community," said Roger Dundas, Publisher & Co-Founder of ByBlacks.com. "This edition promises to be a feast for the senses, offering diners a chance to savour delicious dishes, support local businesses, and connect with the vibrant flavours.”

During ByBlacks Restaurant Week 2024 Spring Edition, food lovers can explore a diverse range of cuisines, from traditional African and Caribbean fare to modern fusion creations, all crafted with passion and flair by talented chefs. Participating restaurants will offer either a prix-fixe menu or a $10 special.

"Black Opportunity Fund (BOF) is pleased to be returning as an Official sponsor of ByBlacks Restaurant Week - a celebration of Black-owned restaurants and foodpreneurs across Canada.  This aligns with BOF's focus on promoting Canadian Black-led businesses through a number of its funding and capacity-building initiatives.  We also acknowledge food's important role in breaking down cultural barriers,  creating a sense of belonging and comfort, and bringing people together." Craig Wellington, CEO, Black Opportunity Fund.

In addition to savouring delectable dishes, diners can also look forward to engaging with the local culinary community, discovering hidden gems, and supporting the growth and success of Black-owned restaurants across Canada.

ByBlacks Restaurant Week is not just a celebration of food; it is a celebration of culture, creativity, and community spirit.

“ACBN is thrilled to partner in the ByBlacks Restaurant Week. Food is a connector in our community and restaurant owners need purposeful support to ensure they thrive. Being able to shine a light on locations to get great food, meet and network with others and help businesses grow is our mandate and we are happy to be part of such a wonderful initiative!” Ryan Knight, Executive Director, Afro-Caribbean Business Network
