Award-winning music production house Grayson Music has unveiled a stunning new creative headquarters in Toronto's Fashion District, complete with three commercial recording studios, a vintage-inspired vinyl bar, a performance stage, and collaborative coworking spaces. More than a facility upgrade, the launch also marks the debut of an Artist Showcase Series, positioning Grayson as a dynamic gathering point for Toronto's music and creative community.

Toronto's music scene has a compelling new address.

Grayson Music, the globally acclaimed, award-winning 360-degree music production house, has officially unveiled its new creative headquarters in the heart of Toronto's Fashion District.

Founded in 1997, Grayson has spent nearly three decades building a reputation for exceptional music creation, curation, and cultural collaboration. The company operates as a full-service creative ecosystem, bringing together composers, producers, sound designers, music supervisors, and artists under one roof.

With this new home, that philosophy takes on a striking physical form — a space that feels as much like a cultural institution as it does a world-class recording facility.

A space built for inspiration

The studio was designed by the late Terry Medwedyk, a world-renowned studio architect whose credits include Noble Street Studios and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. His signature approach — blending vintage character with a modern recording workflow — defines the feel of the entire space.

The facility includes:

  • Three commercial recording studios
  • Multiple dedicated writing rooms
  • Collaborative coworking areas
  • A live performance stage
  • A vintage-inspired vinyl bar

Every element is designed to lower the barrier between inspiration and execution.

Gear that means business

The instrument and equipment roster is built for serious creative work. Here's a snapshot of what's in the room:

CategoryInstruments
Synthesizers DX7, Juno-106, Wurlitzer, Rhodes, B3 with rotating Leslie
Guitars Hofner, ES-345, Stratocaster, Les Paul
Signal chain Extensive classic microphone collection
Workflow Studio-wide seamless digital integration

All instruments are live-ready, designed to flow from inspiration to performance to recording.

"We wanted to inspire ourselves and other creators to move air, to make noise, to experiment with sonics and embrace new technologies with the fewest barriers to recording it as possible," says Tom Westin, Founder and CCO of Grayson Music.

An executive team with over a century of combined expertise

Behind this launch is a leadership team with serious credentials. Westin leads alongside Executive Producer and Partner Kelly McCluskey, supported by an executive group that collectively brings over 100 years of combined music industry experience.

Their expertise spans:

  • Music composition and songwriting
  • Sync licensing and catalogue management
  • Audio post-production and sound design
  • Voiceover casting and recording
  • Experimental AI-driven audio innovation
  • Artist development

Grayson currently operates with teams in Toronto, New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles.

The Artist Showcase Series: where community takes centre stage

Alongside the studio launch, Grayson has announced its first-ever Artist Showcase Series, debuting in Spring 2026 with regular editions to follow.

The series is designed as an evening of creative exchange and genuine connection. It will spotlight both emerging talent and established, award-winning artists in an intimate, curated setting — deliberately bringing together people who don't always share the same table.

"We have an incredible platform to connect groups that don't always cross paths — bringing together artists, musicians, labels and publishers, with agencies, brands, and music supervisors," says McCluskey. "Creating meaningful opportunities and connections for our creative community while doing the thing we love the most: celebrating great music."

More details on the Artist Showcase Series are expected in the coming weeks.

Where sound meets community in Toronto

Grayson Music's new studio lands at a moment when Toronto's creative sector is asserting itself with growing confidence on the global stage. For artists, musicians, and creatives looking for a space that takes both craft and community seriously, this is a development worth paying close attention to.

As Westin puts it, Grayson's guiding philosophy has always been clear: "Make great music, get it heard, and have fun while you're doing it." The new space — with its world-class gear, performance stage, vinyl bar, and genuine commitment to connection — is a physical embodiment of that belief.

Toronto's creative community has always punched above its weight. With Grayson's new Fashion District home firmly in place and the Artist Showcase Series on the horizon, the city now has another anchor point for bold, boundary-pushing work. For anyone operating at the intersection of music, culture, and commerce, Grayson Music's new address is well worth knowing.
